A Special Thank You
Every photographer has a story behind the camera — and mine began with people who believed in me at a time when I was still finding my way in a new country! During my college years, Mary Bono and Patrick Calgero at Lakes Country Club gave me opportunities, encouragement, and trust that helped turn photography from something I loved into the profession it became.
Looking back, I realize how important those early opportunities were. They gave me the chance to learn, experiment, make mistakes, and most importantly, to see photography not simply as taking pictures, but as a craft and a career.
To both of you: thank you.
A large part of the photographer I became started with the doors you opened for me. I have carried that experience with me throughout my journey, and I will always be grateful for it.
